Job Description
The Ayers Foundation Trust / Come Home Tennessee Intern supports the Come Home Tennessee initiative, the Ayers Entrepreneur Center and its related programming in Parsons Tennessee. Interns will collaborate closely with AFT Scholars Program to support their students and alumni.  This role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, high attention to detail and strong independent functioning with ability to complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support Come Home Tennessee social media initiatives, assist in management of social media account while encouraging active participation in CHT / AFT events
• Perform tasks that support the operations, programming and initiatives of the Ayers Entrepreneur Center as directed by the supervisor. This may include workshops, mentoring, startup incubation, coworking and networking.
• Assist with development and execution of alumni-focused events as directed (reunions, workshops, seminars, and networking) to create a sense of community and meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Support the cultivation of relationships with Scholars Program alumni and the community to help foster a robust network that facilitates collaboration, mentorship, and resource-sharing.
• Provide other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in using technology, including social media platforms, CRM systems, and event management tools a plus
• Ayers Foundation Trust Alumni preferred
